When it comes to our spiritual health and relationship with Christ, why must strongholds of sin be dealt with? • Read Galatians 5:1. What is God’s plan for us and how do strongholds keep this from happening? What are some ways we can be demoralized or debilitated by spiritual strongholds of sin? • Read 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 & Romans 8:5-6. How do we go about dealing with strongholds? What are our spiritual weapons? • The people of Israel trusted God’s plan and out of that flowed obedience. What are some areas in which you need to trust God? • The ram’s horn that the Israelites blew was traditionally used for worship not war. How can the act of true worship impact our trust and ultimately how we live for Christ? • What impacted you most from the message? PERSONAL REFLECTION & APPLICATION • Pray, asking sincerely for the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas in your life that could be strongholds of sin. • If there is a stronghold, write it down and pray about it for a week. Consider inviting a trusted friend to pray with you and possibly walk you through some steps to deal with it. • Set your mind on Christ. Worship Him as Lord. Make Him first in your life. Remember that deliverance is only through His truth and power.
