What would you ask them? • What are some misconceptions people might have about why Christians suffer or face difficulties? Why does Peter view suffering as an opportunity? • Share a time God redeemed a season of suffering by allowing you to be a witness. Read 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 and discuss: • What does it mean to you personally to be a ‘new creation’ in Christ, as stated in 2 Corinthians 5:17? How has this changed your life? • How does understanding our role as ambassadors help clarify our identity as Christians? • How might viewing yourself as an ambassador for Christ change how you approach your interactions with others? • How prepared are you to explain your hope in Christ?
