QUESTIONS FOR FURTHER STUDY: 

  • Is there an organization, group, membership you would like to join?  (NRA, Costco, golf club, friend group, etc). What makes you want to be a part of that group/organization? What are the benefits? 
  • What are the benefits of being a part of a family? Joining an army? How are those benefits different from joining an exclusive membership? 
  • Being part of the church should have reward/benefit, but it shouldn’t feed a consumer/self-centered mindset. What are the healthiest rewards of being a part of the church?  
  • What are some signs someone is using the church in a self-centered way?  
  • What is present in the life of a person who is engaged with the church in a healthy way? 
  • The gates of Hell itself cannot withstand the power of Christ’s church. What could the church do if we all unified together as the Bride of Christ, the Family of God, and the Army of Heaven? What evil do you want buried? 
  • How can you personally better the church and enhance its influence for Jesus in our community? 

 QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION & APPLICATION: 

  • What is your personal mindset towards the church (not necessarily Grace but the global church?) 
  • Think about how God views the church. What do you think He sees? 
  • Ask God to clarify your specific role to play within His Church. Seek counsel from trusted friends and step into the pursuit of your Kingdom purpose.
