• What are some things that have shaken your faith across the years? • Have you ever been tempted to walk away from it all? If so, what kept you following Jesus?

Read Hebrews 1:1-4

• What are some ways that people say (whether you agree with them or not) that they hear from God? Share some assumptions you have had about how you think God will speak to you.
• Before Jesus, how did God primarily speak?

• Who are some of these prophets, how did God speak through them, and what types of messages did God typically say through them?
• How does God speak now and why is this significant?
• What does it mean that Jesus is “the heir of all things”? How are you part of His inheritance? (Ephesians 1:18) What does this say about your value?

• Explain the significance of Jesus being Creator and Sustainer.
• How is Jesus the “exact imprint of God”? How does His nature reveal God to us? Why is knowing who Jesus is so important to our faith?
• Why did Jesus sit down? What should be our response?

PERSONAL REFLECTION AND APPLICATION

How would you describe yourself right now spiritually?
