Why should we worship God? It is the ultimate of our life. 3. How can we do worship well? 4 Things you need to worship well: NOTES: QUESTIONS FOR FURHTER STUDY What is something in your life you have ascribed high value to? How did it affect or change your life? (It could be a relationship, hobby, job, etc.) If worship is ascribing high value to something or someone than the argument is worship is an inescapable law. Does that that ring true to you? Why or why not? Outside of Christ, what or who are you prone to worship? What is the result of worshipping something or someone outside of Christ? How does the worship of Christ as our highest priority meet the ultimate need of our life? How does the worship of Christ transform our lives? What are the benefits of worshipping in community? What steps can you take individually to embrace Christ-centered worship? PERSONAL REFLECTION AND APPLICATION Read Romans 1:18-25 If we are honest with ourselves, we have worshipped something other than God at some point. How did it distort or damage your life? Futile thinking and foolish are always the result of exchanging truth for a lie. What can you do this week to ensure you are embracing the truth of God and rejecting the lies of culture?
