NOTES:
QUESTIONS FOR FURTHER STUDY
Read Habakkuk 1:12-2:1 and discuss:
• What are areas in which you get impatient? How has God helped you become more patient?
• When doubts come, what are some ways you respond?
• Discuss what you think is at the heart of Habakkuk’s questions of God?
• Why is it important to remember who God is when facing doubts? What are some of God’s attributes that feed your faith? How have you found those attributes to be true in your own experiences?
Read God’s response in Habakkuk 2:2-5:
• What does waiting with patience look like? Talk about how patience is developed.
• How can we find a proper perspective in the middle of a waiting season?
• What is an area in which you are waiting on God to move? How are you walking in obedience as you wait? How can we pray for you?
• What was the biggest takeaway from the message?
PERSONAL REFLECTION AND APPLICATION
• Identify an area in which you are waiting on God to move.
• List truths about God and promises He has made that feed your faith in Him even when you don’t see what He’s doing.
• Write the ways you are going to choose to trust God in the waiting.
