QUESTIONS FOR FURTHER STUDY

• What are the things that matter most to your family? If you can’t figure it out, look at your calendar and your bank account.
• Where would you like your family to be in 10 or 20 years? Are you being intentional about getting there?
Read Colossians 3:1-4 and discuss:
• What does it mean that we have died with Christ and been raised with Christ? In light of that, how does this influence a Christian family? How does this impact the way we approach life?
• What does it mean that we are hidden in Christ? How does the realization of this set apart a real Christian family from a family that is culturally Christian?
• If as Christians our destiny is ultimately heaven are you preparing mostly for eternity or for this temporary life?
• Do you find worldliness to be a subtle or overt temptation in your family? Explain.
• Where do you feel the most pressure to conform to the world?
• What advice would you offer to a young couple wanting to establish a Christian home?
• What was the biggest takeaway from the message?
