Read Joshua 3 & 4: • Why is remembering what God has done so important? • Would you say that remembering God’s past work comes natural? Why or why not? • When is the last time you shared a testimony of what God has done for you with your children or someone else? Do you find it difficult to tell others about God’s past miracles in your life? Why or why not? • Share some of the big challenges you are facing right now. What are some significant obstacles to trusting God with the future? • Now, remember and recount something specific that God did in the past to meet a need and overcome a challenge. • What impacted you most from the message? PERSONAL REFLECTION & APPLICATION • Identify some important “God stories” from your life that need to be remembered and recounted. • Find objects that will help symbolize each story. Put them somewhere you and others can see them and be reminded. • As you pray this week, remember something God has done for you in the past, thank Him for it, and then commit to trust Him with your current challenge.
